EUGENE STAMM studied the art of black and white photography for four years at SUNY- Purchase College.  He has spent the over 25 years photographing major construction sites in the greater New York area.  He has participated in numerous exhibits sponsored by the city of New York, the New York Public Library and the Museum of the City of New York.  He is currently exhibiting 65 prints of the Water Turner #3 at the West Chester County Executive Office Building  On special occasions, he uses infra-red black and white and color ektachrome film for special effects.  A rare study using this film has been to capture the moment of fusion in the welding process.  He recently moved to New Orleans, having married Virginia Darmstadter.  The focus of his camera is nature and its myriad of beauty.  Earth Treasures as flowers, fruit, mushrooms and grasses has captured his imagination.  This exhibit at Driscoll's is the beginning of what he hopes will be other public presentations.
