Pictured is a Mahogany chair upholstered in green velvet.  It is of the mid Victorian era in the Queen Ann style.  It has been completely restored.  The jute strapping has been replace and the coiled springs have been retied with Italian spring twine.  The wood has been rubbed out with pumice stone and oil.  The finish has been protected with a carnauba wax.
